रक्तदान हे सर्वश्रेष्ठ दान असे मानले जाते.समाजाचे ऋण फेडायची एक संधी रक्तदानामुळेच मिळते.एका ठराविक वयानंतर रक्तदान करणे योग्य समजण्यात येते. वयाच्या १८ व्या वर्षापासून ते ६५ व्या वर्षापर्यंत रक्तदान करणे योग्य असते.
मानवाच्या शरीरात साडेचार ते पाच लिटर रक्त असते. रक्तदानाच्या वेळी केवळ ३०० मिली. रक्त काढले जाते. प्रत्येक रक्तदाना नंतर साधारण ३६ तासांत शरीरात रक्ताची पातळी पूर्ववत होते. तसेच साधारण २ ते ३ आठवड्यां मध्ये रक्तपेशीही पूर्ववत होतात. रक्तदान केल्याने कोणताही त्रास किंवा इजा होत नाही.
स्वैच्छिक रक्तदान मोठ्या प्रमाणात होणे गरजेचे आहे. वारंवार होणारे अपघात, विविध आजारांमध्ये लागणारी रक्ताची गरज, जसे रक्तक्षय, थॅलेसिमिया, हिमोफिलिया, सिकलसेल या आजारांमध्ये रुग्णाला वारंवार रक्ताची गरज भासते. या रुग्णांची संख्या दिवसेंदिवस वाढत चालली आहे. स्त्रियांमधील रक्ताचे कमी प्रमाण असणाऱ्या, प्रसूतीच्या वेळी मोठ्या प्रमाणात रक्ताची गरज भासते. या रक्ताची मागणी पूर्ण होण्यासाठी त्याचप्रमाणे रुग्णाचे प्राण वाचवण्यासाठी प्रत्येक निरोगी व्यक्तीने रक्तदान करून सामाजिक ऋण फेडायला हवे.

The Sanskrit word `Kapala’ means `Forehead’ and `Bhati’ means `Light’.
Kapalbhati uses forced exhalation.
Kapalbhati has a stimulating, cleansing and heating effect on the body. It increases the heart beats and helps improve blood circulation and oxygen levels.
It increases lung strength and function clearing the nasal passages of any congestion.
Limitation:
- High blood pressure, heart disease or stroke. People with these ailments should not practice
- Hernia patient
- Gastric Ulcer
- Epilepsy
- Vertigo
- Not recommended during pregnancy

Using props does NOT make you’re practice less than.
Props are an amazing tool to make poses more accessible no matter how long you’ve been practicing. All of our bodies are different and, therefore, every pose is going to feel and look different for each person. For example, even though I’ve been practicing for a while, the triangle pose always feels a little crunchy in my body.
The shape feels weird in my hips, but adding a block under my hand helps alleviate some of that discomfort and allows me to practice the pose safely. So, if you’re feeling like picking up blocks during your practice will make your practice look weaker, know that it takes so much more strength to say “This pose doesn’t serve me as is and I need to modify.”
